Join us for the 13th Annual H Albert Inkel Memorial Golf Tournament benefitting the H Albert Inkel Memorial Scholarship fund! The scholarship awards funds to junior golfers in our community and seeks to grow the game of golf through them, opening doors and providing opportunities for kids who wouldn't otherwise get the chance to participate in the sport. The fund has provided tens of thousands of dollars over the years - over $10,000 in 2023 alone!

This tournament will be a 4-Person, 18-Hole Scramble that encompasses both our golf courses here at Windy Hill! This year, we're also adding a H BUDDIES LEAGUE on Friday, June 14th with LIVE MUSIC from CBJ Band! If you're thinking "Wow, this can't get any better!", think again. The theme this year? PAJAMA PARTY! Yes, you'll be able to golf in your pajamas, isn't that the dream round?

H Albert Inkel Scholarship Fund

Each year, Windy Hill holds a golf tournament to raise money for the scholarship fund supporting local junior golfers in our community. The H Albert Inkel Memorial Golf Tournament is usually held in October annually and has had the privilege to award over $60,000 to very deserving local junior gofers. The tournament is a 4-person scramble, which was Al’s favorite format to play with his daughters. There is a different theme each year, and golfers come in costume and have so much fun raising money for junior golfers to continue growing the game of golf.

The H Albert Inkel Scholarship Fund was set up by LPGA Nichole Inkel in reembrace of her father, H Albert Inkel.

Al “H” adored his family and was an avid golfer. He was a huge supporter of the LPGA and junior golf, getting his daughters Lori & Nichole started at a young age. He was always there to sponsor tournaments, volunteer his time, and set up scholarship funds giving players the chance to play at the collegiate level. As a father, he never missed a tournament of his daughter Nichole in over 20 years and always did what he could to help her get to the next level.

Al was on the LPGA State Farm Board of Director and was in charge of the press room for over 15 years. He and his wife hosted both Annika & Charlotta Sorenstam for more than 10 years while playing on tour, building a friendship that lasted until he passed.

Al’s passion and support of the game is the main reason his daughter Nichole became an LPGA Member and chose to dedicate her life to giving back to youth in the same charismatic fashion as her father did for so many years.
